AT&T is expanding its fiber network in northwest Lawrence County to more than 2,300 customer locations, according to a press release. The project valued at $3.6 million is in addition to the 700 locations planned as part of the State's Next Level Connections broadband grant program. 'This is a great step forward in continuing to improve the quality of life for residents, business owners, first responders and visitors in our community,' said Lawrence County commissioner Rodney Fish. 'Fast connectivity like this is crucial to our day-to-day activities, and we're excited that AT&T was willing to collaborate with us to bring more high-speed broadband here.
